Greetings and Salutations Reader,
Here are just a few previous works of mine. They are my most recent works, only made in the previous school semester (Spring '11) for my Color Theory class. The reason I had chosen these pieces are because I feel that they the most fun to look at. The subject depicted is my own cat named Rufus. He is a 22lb maincoon Tuxedo cat I have had for many years and love dearly. I greatly enjoyed creating these pieces and I hope you enjoy them too.
Another reason I chose these pieces is because they showcase my strengths in both drawing and painting. When it comes to my work I can be on two different planets at times (not literally but in creative thinking, yes). At times I like to keep things simplistic and clean. Letting the images speak for themselves. But on the other days I like to push the envelope to the limit with either a fun use of unexpected colors or disportion the subject matter to give it a whole new style. My artistic influences ( which there are too many to list) are from various backgrounds and I believe it is because of that I am freely able to experiment and try to learn as much as I possibly can.
Thanks, Tina O.
